Dusk, Pohangina valley

Dusk can be a particularly beautiful time of day. The light changes so fast that speed's important when photographing — speed in terms of photographing quickly; speed in terms of a high ISO when the tripod's back in the house.

Very beautiful, very calm. Just what we, in storm-tossed Britain, need to see at the moment.

RR, we finally seem to be getting a summer. Windy, it's true, but warm, and the rain's holding off. I'd send you some if I could.

Zhoen, we have another very similar one this evening. These are evenings to be savoured.
