Waiting for the weather — hay in the front paddock

The hay in the paddock in front of my place has been ready for cutting and baling for several weeks now. Unfortunately, with the weather being so unsettled, this might be the view for a while yet — not that anyone could complain about a view like this.

Definitely no complaints. Our hills are golden at the moment. Next step - dust.

No complaints here, either! I love the play of breeze over swaths of grass like this. Cool shot ;0

EC, right now it's hard to imagine this place turning to dust, but we did have a bad, very widespread drought recently. I hope you get some good rain as a New Year's present.

Barbara, I agree — I love seeing the wind rippling over long grass. The invisible made visible.
