That beautiful face behind the wire is just so eloquent - although I try hard not to anthropomorphise!

this is a sad picture, yet it's realistic in a sense that it doesn't completely victimizes these animals. I could interpret it as "I have lost the freedom I had, please let me out of the cage... but be warn that you'll never want to see me without these fences between us". may seem odd, but his sadness seems to harbor a bit of danger in those eyes. maybe that's subjective. I love dogs and wolves, but this specific one showed a little mean streak behind the tragedy of incarceration expressed through those fence holes. great shot
