Oh!.. what a moment!

It certainly was, Tabib. Khijadiya's a wonderful place; I'd never seen anything like it for the sheer numbers of congregated birds.

Really spectacular! Ashamed to be asking, but where in Gujarat is Khijadiya?

Flowergirl, Khijadiya's about 10 km north of Jamnagar. It's actually two separate areas with different characteristics, which contributes to its great diversity. The Indian ornithology legend, Dr Salim Ali, apparently recorded over 100 bird species in a day at Khijadiya. Highly recommended if you're keen on birds.
